FOLKLORE FESTIVAL COTE D’AZUR

Sanremo folklore festival is the unique international folklore festival which has been held annually in the heart of well-known ”city of music” – Sanremo, organized by Blue Diamond, exclusively in official collaboration with Sanremo Municipality. The festival takes place in Piazza Borea d’Olmo at a grandious open-air stage in front of the celebrated Teatro Ariston which hosts well-known Sanremo music festival.  Before the performances on stage, there will be a parade of all the groups along Sanremo’s main street!

During the festival participants enjoy  Italian Riviera dei Fiori and also French Riviera (Cote d’Azur) visiting Monte Carlo, Nice, Cannes, Menton, beautiful seaside resorts, the rich and famous, yachts, medieval architecture, flowers and wine!

REGULATIONS

Folklore dancing ensembles, chorus, majorettes, orchestra, musical bands are invited to participate in this folklore festival which will be held in Sanremo.

Every group will perform once at the professional stage and it should prepare a 8 minutes program.

Performances with live and music recorded on USB are both allowed.

The age and the maximum number of dancers in the group are not limited. The minimum number of the group members for accommodation is 15, including relatives, drivers. Adult, youth and children ensembles are welcome to participate. Soloists are not accepted.

Family members and friends may join this folklore festival in Sanremo and take the chance to visit Italy and France for the same price.

The accommodation of the groups is provided in 3* hotels like HOTEL EUROPA , HOTEL SVIZZERA or HOTEL VILLA SAN GIUSEPPE or similar, in triple rooms, and it includes 4 nights with half-board (breakfast and dinner).

On your special request we can provide higher categories of the hotels or in city centre of Sanremo LOLLY PALACE with supplement 20 euro per per person for each day, or similar hotel, what is the subject of availability.

The hotel will be assigned to every group based on the requested rooming of all groups. The final program with the logistics, timing and all the details about the hotel in which you will be accommodated will be sent to you 3 weeks before the arrival.

Accommodation for 1 person is free of charge if you have more than 25 persons in the group. Accommodation for 2 persons is free of charge if you have more than 42 persons in the group.

According to your flights there is possibility to prolong your stay in the same hotel. We are able to help you with airport transfers and excursions on your request (it is necessary to contact us to ask for quotation and availability of buses at least 4 months in advance).

PAYMENT

As confirmation of its participation in this folklore festival in Sanremo, a group pays 2000€ in advance and the rest not later than 15 days before the festival by bank transfer.

The advanced payment is non-reimbursable if you later decide not to come, for any reason.

In case of unexpected circumstances or Force Majeure, the organizer reserves the right to change the date of the event or to postpone it for the next year.
