International Easter Folklore Festival Prague
Experience the Magic of Easter in Prague
Celebrate tradition, music, and culture at the International Easter Folklore Festival Prague, one of the most attractive folklore festivals in Central Europe. Held in the heart of the Czech capital, the festival offers participants the unique opportunity to perform on a professional open-air stage in Prague’s historic city center and take part in a spectacular international parade through the famous Old Town.
Each year, the festival welcomes 15โ20 folklore ensembles from around the world, creating an unforgettable atmosphere filled with music, dance, and international friendship.
During the festival, participants can also enjoy Prague’s famous Easter Markets, featuring traditional Czech cuisine, handcrafted products, local specialties, street food, and festive cultural events throughout the city.
Festival Participation
The festival welcomes:
- Folklore dance ensembles
- Choirs
- Majorettes
- Brass and marching bands
- Traditional music ensembles
The festival is open to children, youth, and adult groups.
Please note:
- Solo performers are not accepted.
- The minimum group size for accommodation is 15 participants.
- There are no age restrictions.
Each participating ensemble will present one performance with a maximum duration of 10 minutes.
Groups may perform with:
- Live musical accompaniment
- Recorded music on USB
Participation is available exclusively through the official festival accommodation package.
Family members and friends are welcome to accompany participating groups and enjoy the festival under the same accommodation conditions.
Accommodation
Participants will stay in carefully selected 3โ and 4โ hotels, including:
- Hotel Olลกanka
- Hotel Olympik Congress
or other hotels of the same standard.
Accommodation includes:
- Triple and quadruple rooms
- 3 nights
- Half Board (Breakfast & Dinner)

Complimentary Accommodation
Groups receive complimentary accommodation as follows:
- 1 free participant for groups of more than 25 participants
- 2 free participants for groups of more than 42 participants
Supplements
- Double Room Supplement: โฌ6 per person/night
- Single Room Supplement: โฌ30 per night
- Additional Night: โฌ55 per person (Half Board included)
Optional Activities
Participants may also enjoy optional excursions and cultural experiences, including:
- Boat cruise on the Vltava River โ โฌ12 per person
- Traditional Czech dinner with live folklore show โ โฌ38 per person
Additional sightseeing tours and guided city excursions can be arranged upon request.

Payment Terms
To confirm participation, each group is required to pay a non-refundable deposit of โฌ2,000.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 15 days before the festival by bank transfer.
If a participating group cancels its participation for any reason, the advance payment is non-refundable.
Important Information
In the event of unforeseen circumstances or Force Majeure, the organizer reserves the right to:
- Change the festival dates
- Postpone the festival to the following year
Should any changes become necessary, all registered participants will be informed as early as possible.

Festival Program
The groups should arrive to the hotel between 14:00 and 19:00 where they will be welcomed and referred to the program.
The day of theย Easter folklore festivalย in Prague.
Performances will be held on an open-air stage in the centre of the town.
This day is free for sightseeing.
For the morning we suggest a boat tour on the Vltava river.
Your evening can be fulfilled with a traditional Czech dinner with a Folklore show.
You should check out after breakfast.
Refund Policy
As confirmation of its participation in thisย folklore festival, a group pays a deposit as a guarantee.
This deposit is non-reimbursable if you later decide not to come, for any reason. In case of unexpected circumstances or Force Majeure, the organizer reserves the right to change the event date or postpone it for the next year.
When paying by bank transfer, some tax fees may occur and we are not covering those expenses, they are paid by the group.
