Discover the Heart of Southern Italy
Experience the charm of Apulia (Puglia), one of Italy’s most captivating regions, where history, culture, and breathtaking landscapes come together to create an unforgettable festival experience.
The International Folklore Festival in Apulia takes place in the picturesque town of Gravina in Puglia, famous for its spectacular canyon, ancient architecture, and the iconic Ponte Acquedotto, where the festival’s colorful international parade begins.
During your stay, you’ll have the opportunity to explore some of Southern Italy’s most remarkable destinations, including the UNESCO World Heritage city of Matera, the enchanting Alberobello with its famous trulli houses, the vibrant regional capital Bari, the white city of Ostuni, and the historic town of Altamura.
The festival is officially organized by Blue Diamond Events in cooperation with the renowned local folklore ensemble La Zjte, creating a truly authentic cultural experience.
About the Festival
The International Folklore Festival in Apulia is a non-competitive international event celebrating traditional music, dance, and cultural heritage.
The festival welcomes:
- Folklore dance ensembles
- Choirs
- Majorettes
- Brass and marching bands
- Traditional music ensembles
The festival is open to children, youth, and adult performers, with no age restrictions.
Each participating group will present:
- One performance
- Maximum performance duration of 10 minutes
- Live music or professionally recorded accompaniment (USB)
Solo performers are not accepted.
Family members and friends are welcome to accompany participating groups and enjoy the festival under the same accommodation conditions.
Accommodation
Participants will stay in comfortable 3★ hotels in Gravina in Puglia, with accommodation in triple and quadruple rooms.

Double and single rooms are available with the applicable supplements.
Upon request, accommodation can be upgraded to higher-category hotels for an additional €15–20 per person per night, subject to availability.
Complimentary Accommodation
Groups receive complimentary accommodation as follows:
- 1 free participant for groups with more than 25 participants
- 2 free participants for groups with more than 42 participants

For groups arriving by air, guided sightseeing programs with private coach transportation can be organized.
Guided Daily Excursions
- €45 per person/day
- Minimum 25 participants
For groups of 15–24 participants, prices are available upon request.
Airport transfers between Bari Airport or Naples Airport and the hotel can also be arranged upon request.

Payment Terms
To confirm participation, each group is required to pay a non-refundable deposit of €2,000.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 15 days before the festival by bank transfer.
Should a group cancel its participation, the advance payment is non-refundable.
Important Information
In the event of unforeseen circumstances or Force Majeure, the organizer reserves the right to:
- Change the festival dates
- Postpone the festival to the following year
All registered groups will be informed promptly should any changes occur.

Festival Program
The groups should arrive to the hotel between 14:00 and 19:00 where they will be welcomed and referred to the program.
You may use a part of this day to visit Bari, the capital of the Apulia.
You may visit Matera and Altamura. In the evening the festival in Matera.
Performances will be held on an open-air stage or in the theatre in case of the bad weather conditions
This day is free for sightseeing. We suggest visiting  Alberobello and Citta di Ostuni.
You should check out after the breakfast.
Refund Policy
As confirmation of its participation in this folklore festival, a group pays a deposit as a guarantee.
This deposit is non-reimbursable if you later decide not to come, for any reason. In case of unexpected circumstances or Force Majeure, the organizer reserves the right to change the event date or postpone it for the next year.
When paying by bank transfer, some tax fees may occur and we are not covering those expenses, they are paid by the group.
