Overview
- International Folklore festival in โโCosta Bravaโ Lloret de Marย is verified as the largest folklore festival on the Spanish coast bringing together to 25 โ 30 folklore ensembles from all over the world.ย The festival unfolds on a magnificent open-air stage in the very heart ofย Lloret de Mar.ย The performances are preceded by a spectacular parade of all participating groups through the vibrant city streets, surrounded by a lively crowd of tourists.
Participants enjoyย excellent hotels withย swimming pools, delicious cuisineย and as well as the beautiful beaches of the Costa Brava. The festival programme also offers exciting excursions toย Barcelona, Gironaย andย Montserrat.
REGULATIONS
Folklore dance groups, choirs, majorettes and brass bands are warmly invited to participate in this vibrant international folklore festival inย Lloret de Mar,ย a lively seaside town on theย Costa Brava,ย just a short distance fromย Barcelona.
Every group will perform once and it should prepare a 8 minutes programme.
Performances with live and music recorded are both allowed.
The age and the maximum number of dancers in the group are not limited. The minimum number of the group members for accommodation is 15 (including dancers, relatives,ย accompanists and drivers). Adult, youth and children ensembles are welcome. Soloists are not accepted.
Family members and friends may join thisย folklore festivalย ย and travel toย Spainย for the same price.
The accommodation of the groups is provided in 3/4* hotels in Costa Brava โ towns Lloret de Mar, Pineda de Mar, Tossa de Mar, Santa Sussana (HOTEL DON ANGEL,ย HOTEL MARIA DEL MAR ,ย ย TOSSA BEACH CENTER HOTEL, or similar,ย in triple and quadruple rooms, and it includes 5 nights withย full-boardย buffet systemย (breakfast, lunch and dinner). All hotels have a swimming pool.
The hotel will be assigned to every group based on the requested rooming of all groups. The final program with the logistics, timing and all the details about the hotel in which you will be accommodated will be sent to you 2 weeks before the arrival.
According to your flights there is possibility to prolong your stay in the same hotel. We are able to help you with airport transfers and excursions on your request (it is necessary to contact us to ask for quotation and availability of buses at least 4 months in advance).

Accommodation for 1 person is free of charge if you have more than 26 persons in the group. Accommodation for 2 persons is free of charge if you have more than 52 persons in the group.

PAYMENT
As confirmation of its participation in thisย folklore festival, a group pays 2000โฌ in advance and the rest not later than 15 days before the festival by bank transfer.
This deposit is non-reimbursable if you later decide not to come, for any reason. In case of unexpected circumstances or Force Majeure, the organizer reserves the right to change the date of the event or to postpone it for the next year.

Festival Program
The groups should arrive to the hotel between 14:00 and 19:00 where they will be welcomed and referred to the program.
On this day the folklore festival โAlegria de danzarโ will be held in Lloret de Mar, Costa Brava (performance on an open-air stage in the evening)

You should leave the hotel after the breakfast.
Refund Policy
As confirmation of its participation in thisย folklore festival, a group pays a deposit as a guarantee.
This deposit is non-reimbursable if you later decide not to come, for any reason. In case of unexpected circumstances or Force Majeure, the organizer reserves the right to change the event date or postpone it for the next year.
When paying by bank transfer, some tax fees may occur and we are not covering those expenses, they are paid by the group.
