Overview
Folklore Festival โMarelandiaโ Cesenaticoย ย is the biggest and the most visited folklore festivalย on the Adriatic coastย ย of Rimini, welcomingย 20โ25 participating ensembles per edition. It stands out for its spectacular scenery, open-air stage in the centralย Piazza Andrea Costa, and impressive parade of groups through the famous, picturesque and breathtakingย Canal Leonardesco!
Participants enjoy sandy beaches, a boat trip with lunch, lots of fun at the amusement parkย โMirabilandiaโ, and unforgettable excursions toย San Marino, Bolognaย andย Ravenna Safari Park.
REGULATIONS
Folklore dance groups, choirs, majorettes and musical bands from around the world are warmly invited to participate in thisย international folklore festival, held inย Cesenatico, a charming seaside town on Italyโs Adriatic coast, just a short distance fromย Rimini.
Every group will perform once and it should prepare program up to 8 minutes.
Performances with live and music recordedย are both allowed.
The age and the maximum number of dancers in the group are not limited. The minimum number of the group membersย for accommodation is 15. Adult, youth and children ensembles are welcome. Soloists are not accepted.
Family members and friends may join thisย folklore festivalย and travel to Italy for the same price.
The accommodation of the groups is provided in 3* hotels likeย HOTEL CANASTAย ,ย HOTEL PLAYA ,ย HOTEL LA TORRE RIMINIย ย or any other hotel of the same category,ย in triple and quadruple rooms, and it includes 5 nights with half-board (breakfast-buffet and dinner -3 course served). All hotels are located maximally 200m from the beach. All hotels are carefully selected and have been trusted, reliable partners of our festivals for many years.
Accommodation for 1 person is free of charge if you have more than 25 persons in the group. Accommodation for 2 persons is free of charge if you have more than 42 persons in the group.
The nearest airports are:ย Rimini and Bologna.
We are also able to assist you with airport transfers and organize additional excursions upon request. To ensure availability, please contact us at leastย four months in advanceย to request a quotation and confirm the availability of buses and transfer services.
Accommodation for 1 person is free of charge if you have more than 25 persons in the group. Accommodation for 2 persons is free of charge if you have more than 42 persons in the group.

PAYMENT
As confirmation of its participation in thisย folklore festival, a group pays 2000โฌ in advance and the rest not later than 15 days before the festival by bank transfer.
This deposit is non-reimbursable if you later decide not to come, for any reason. In case of unexpected circumstances or Force Majeure, the organizer reserves the right to change the date of the event or to postpone it for the next year.

Festival Program
The groups should arrive to the hotel in Rimini between 14:00 and 19:00 where they will be welcomed and referred to the program.
We suggest relaxing on the beach whole day as theย folklore festivalย will be held in the evening inย Cesenatico.
We suggest visiting Rimini, the amusement park Mirabilandia and Italia in miniatura
We suggest visiting San Marino or Safari in Ravena.
We suggest visiting Bologna or just relaxing on the beach.
You should leave the hotel after the breakfast.
Refund Policy
As confirmation of its participation in thisย folklore festival, a group pays a deposit as a guarantee.
This deposit is non-reimbursable if you later decide not to come, for any reason. In case of unexpected circumstances or Force Majeure, the organizer reserves the right to change the event date or postpone it for the next year.
When paying by bank transfer, some tax fees may occur and we are not covering those expenses, they are paid by the group.
