The ensemble established in 1970 is the ensemble at the Hunedoara House of Culture. has in its composition 5 groups of dancers aged between 7 and 60+ years, over 100 dancers.

The ensemble has participated in numerous tours, and international festivals in over 25 countries both in Europe and in Asia, and Africa, throughout 52 years of activity, obtaining numerous trophies.

In Romania, the Hațegana Folk Ensemble collaborates with all the televisions in the country and has won numerous trophies at national festivals.
