🌟 Invitation to the International Folklore Festival in Bar – Petrovac, Montenegro 🌟

With great pleasure, we invite Folk Groups, Choirs, Orchestras, and Majorette Teams — including Children, Youth, and Adult Ensembles — to take part in our upcoming International Folklore Festival!

🏖️ About the Destination

Bar – Petrovac, Montenegro is a fascinating blend of rich history, coastal beauty, and vibrant modern life.
Bar, a charming seaport town in southern Montenegro, serves as both a tourism center and the heart of the Bar Municipality. The region boasts stunning stony and sandy beaches, lush vegetation, and a naturally preserved environment ideal for leisure, hiking, and exploration.

Nearby destinations such as Sutomore, Čanj, and Dobra Voda are famous for their long sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters, attracting visitors from all over the world.

Petrovac, located between Budva and Bar, offers a 600-meter-long sandy beach and a more peaceful resort atmosphere, perfect for those seeking relaxation away from the bustle of larger towns.

💰 Participation Fee

Basic Category: €180 – 5 days / 4 nights (Half Board: breakfast & dinner)
Advance Category: €215 – 5 days / 4 nights (Half Board: breakfast & dinner)

💳 Payment Terms

To confirm participation, each group pays 10% in advance, with the remaining balance due no later than 15 days before the festival — either by bank transfer or upon arrival, as previously arranged with the organizers.

Please note:

• The advance deposit is non-refundable in case of cancellation for any reason.

• In the event of Force Majeure or unforeseen circumstances, the organizer reserves the right to reschedule or postpone the festival.

• Due to potential economic fluctuations, prices may be adjusted accordingly.

• All banking fees are the responsibility of the applicant.

🏨 Accommodation

Festival fees include organization costs and accommodation in comfortable hotels or apartments.

• Rooms: mostly triple or quadruple with private bathrooms

• Each group may receive two double rooms (for leaders/drivers)

• Additional rooms:

  • Double room: +€10/person/day

  • Single room: +€20/day

• Extra nights (Half Board): €50–€60/person

• 1 free place for every 25 participants

• Check-in: after 14:00 PM, Check-out: before 09:00 AM

• Tourist tax & insurance (€1.50/person/day) are not included and payable upon arrival.

🎭 Festival Conditions

• Open to Choirs, Orchestras, Folklore, and Modern Dance Groups from around the world

• No age limits

• Participation diplomas and gifts provided by the organizer

• Organization of parades and performances included

• To participate, groups must complete the application form and submit the advance payment, after which an official invitation letter will be issued.

💃 Participant Requirements

• Each group should include dancers, musicians, managers, and assistants

• Prepare a 10–12 minute performance

• Performances may use live music, CD, or USB

• Bring a national flag and a group banner for the parade

• Groups traveling by bus must use their own transportation during the festival

• Groups requiring visas must handle visa arrangements independently

• Rooming lists must be submitted at least one month before the festival.

🏥 Insurance

All participants are responsible for personal and health insurance.
First aid and medical facilities will be available; however, medical costs are covered by the group.

📢 Festival Promotion

Festival events will be promoted through local and national media, including press, radio, television, flyers, and posters.
All photos and video recordings remain the property of the festival organization.
By submitting an application, groups agree to all festival terms and conditions.
