Overview
Summer Folklore Festival in Prague is a unique international folklore event featuring a professional open-air stage in the heart of Prague and a spectacular parade through Old Town Square.
Organized by Blue Diamond for more than 15 years, the festival brings together 15โ20 international folklore groups in each edition, creating a vibrant celebration of music, dance, traditions, and cultural diversity.
Relaxed summer atmosphere โ the perfect time to explore its magnificent historic centre on foot, wander through charming streets and squares, and experience the magic of the city at an easy summer pace.
The festival takes place in three editions throughout the year: Spring, Summer, and Advent, offering visitors the opportunity to experience folklore and traditions in Prague across different seasons.
REGULATIONS
Folklore dancing groups, chorus, majorettes, musical and brass bands are invited to participate in this Summer folklore festival which will be held in Prague, Czech Republic.
Every group will perform once and it should prepare a 8 minutes program.
Performances with live and music recorded are both allowed.
The age and the maximum number of dancers in the group are not limited. The minimum number of the group members for accommodation is 15 ( including relatives, drivers, friends etc. which are all welcome to travel with the group under the same conditions). Adult, youth and children ensembles are welcome. Soloists are not accepted.
Family members and friends may join this ย folklore festival and visit Prague for the same price.
The accommodation of the groups is provided in 3/4* hotels like HOTEL OLSANKA or HOTEL OLYMPIK CONGRESS or upon fullfilled avaialbility in mentioned hotels any other hotel of the same category, in triple and quadruple rooms, and it includes 3 nights with half-board (breakfast and dinner).
The hotel will be assigned to every group based on the requested rooming of all groups. The final program with the logistics, timing and all the details about the hotel in which you will be accommodated will be sent to you 3 weeks before the arrival.
According to your flights there is possibility to prolong your stay in the same hotel. We are able to help you with airport transfers and excursions on your request (it is necessary to contact us to ask for quotation and availability of buses at least 3 months in advance).
Accommodation for 1 person is free of charge if you have more than 25 persons in the group. Accommodation for 2 persons is free of charge if you have more than 42 persons in the group.

PAYMENT
As confirmation of its participation in thisย folklore festival, a group pays 2000โฌ in advance and the rest not later than 15 days before the festival by bank transfer.
This deposit is non-reimbursable if you later decide not to come, for any reason.
In case of unexpected circumstances or Force Majeure, the organizer reserves the right to change the date of the event or to postpone it for the next year.

Festival Program
The groups should arrive to the hotel between 14:00 and 19:00 where they will be welcomed and referred to the program.

Performances will be held on an open-air stage in the center of the town.
This day is free for sightseeing.
For the morning we suggest a boat tour on the Vltava river.
Your evening can be fulfilled with a traditional Czech dinner with a Folklore show.
You should check out after breakfast.
Refund Policy
As confirmation of its participation in thisย folklore festival, a group pays a deposit as a guarantee.
This deposit is non-reimbursable if you later decide not to come, for any reason. In case of unexpected circumstances or Force Majeure, the organizer reserves the right to change the event date or postpone it for the next year.
When paying by bank transfer, some tax fees may occur and we are not covering those expenses, they are paid by the group.
