Antalya is the fastest-growing city in Turkey, and tourists from around the world are discovering its fabulous mix of great beaches and traditional Turkish culture. Located on Anatolia’s southwest coast bordered by the Taurus Mountains, Antalya is the largest Turkish city on the Mediterranean coast with over one million people in its metropolitan area. The area is shielded from the northerly winds by the Taurus Mountains. Antalya has a hot-summer Mediterranean climate with hot and dry summers and mild and rainy winters. Around 300 days of the year are sunny, with nearly 3,000 hours of sunlight per year.

General Rules

The International Folk Dance Festival “Turkish Paradise” is a non-competitive festival of traditional and modern dances. On the festival may participate children and youth folklore dance groups, modern dance groups, instrumental groups, choirs, as well as groups and performers from other art styles with minimum 10 persons on the stage. The age of participants is not limited.

During the Festival each Group will have 2 performances on open stage in Side and Antalya where groups can perform either with live music or CD. According to the number of participants, the minutes of the performance will be defined. All groups will have a meeting with the Mayor of Antalya and/or Side. The performances will be in the evening hours so you can plan the day ahead and use it for visiting the city attractions or shopping. Every Group will be rewarded with a Certificate for taking part on the Festival.

Note: All groups need to send their music by e-mail 10 days before festival!

During the free time, on group request the Festival Team can organize several excursions.

Detailed Excursions list will be given to you 1 month before the festival.


The accommodation of the participants will be organized in 5**** Hotel located in the region between Antalya and Side, 600 m from the beach on an All-Inclusive basis (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and drinks). The groups will be accommodated in rooms with 3 and 4 beds with their own bathroom. Each Group can have only 2 double rooms which can be used for the Leaders and Drivers. For any extra double room, the group should pay extra 4 euro/person/day and for a single room additional 19 euro per day.

NOTE: The Groups must send the rooming list by end of August. Groups that do not send, the rooming list will be made by festival and can’t be any changes upon arrival.

The festival fee is:

4 nights = 160 euro per person

5 nights = 195 euro per person

6 nights = 225 euro per person

It covers organizational expenses, transport during the festival, accommodation in 5***** Hotel for 4, 5 or 6 nights with 3 meals, snacks and drinks on All Inclusive basis. On every 25 participants, one member is free of charge.

If the group shows interest in extending the stay the organizers should be informed during the application process and the price for extra night is 40 euro per person per day.

Participation fee can be paid via bank transfer or in cash on the day of arrival. Advance payment of 30 euro per person should be made after receiving the official invitation.

Transport and Travel Conditions

The Festival Organizers will organize the transport for the groups coming by plane by picking them up from airport, during the festival days and back to the same airport. The cost of transportation will be covered by the organizers.

During the festival days, transportation from the hotel to the performance area and back will be organized and covered by the organizational council.

Parking for buses (during your stay) is free.

The participant group should arrive in Antalya on 30th of September 2019 and leave on the 06th of October 2019 after having breakfast and leave the rooms till 10:00.

The number of participants is limited. Therefore, we will appreciate if you can send us your application by 31 May 2019. After receiving your application, we will send you the official invitation for participating on the Festival. We will also assist you in obtaining visa if necessary. Each member must have travel insurance policy.

The organizer reserves the right to any changes in the program, and the participants will be informed on time. The copy right of all video materials and pictures are ownership of the Organization of the Festival. By applying you confirm that you accept all festival conditions!
