The dance was, it is and it always will be our identity! Junii Covasneni is a representative ensemble from Covasna, a Romanian county.

The group was formed in 2017 with kids starting 6 years old and also adults, at the initiative of the daughter of some professional dancers. “Nothing seemed more emotional than seeing my parents dancing! There are no words to describe that feeling”…

We are happy to perform in the festivals from our country, at TV shows, and also at the festivals organized by MIOFF in different countries. Our dances and our costumes are representing the area that we live in, but also other areas in Romania.

Everything that we do is for our souls, for our culture, we like to socialize, like dance and meet other people, and other cultures and we are very proud of our results. We are proud to see that people support us in all that we do, in all the festivals we are participating in or organizing.

That’s why, this year in December we decided to organize a festival in our town, for the first time and we hope to have the same support that we had until now. If the festival will be successful, maybe the second edition will make it international.

We give all our interest and give all seriousness in what we do, we know that we have a duty to our ancestors as well as to our descendants and we know that as long as God wills, we will continue with our foreheads raised.
